I, like another commenter, put off watching this because after this spring I wasn't ready to make space for even an hour of this kind of depth in something so close to home. I'm glad to have waited, and glad to have watched now. This was one of the best. The section on 'dangerousness' in Precarious Life hit me over the head with fear. I am trans and a teacher in the US. The demonization of each is not subtle. But your hope for the future at the end made me sob in recognition. It will always, always move me to hear someone earnestly share that they want to live, and claim joy. I am glad for you, and wish that and more to you, and hope that for myself. Thanks for this.
